Joe Caygill - Director & Chief Executive |
After completing an honors degree in Clinical Pharmacology at Monash University , Joe worked for a number of years at Mount Isa Mining Company.
He then joined Injectapak Pty Ltd, as Production Planner and 2 years later transferred to BTR Nylex's Blow Moulding Unit at Seaford . At Seaford , Joe was Business Manager, responsible for all aspects of a business, consisting of 15 blow moulding machines and which supplied products to a number of industries, including automotive and pharmaceutical.
In 1988, Joe bought Plasticon Pty Ltd and became self-employed.
He merged his Company with Blowcon Pty Ltd in 1990.
Joe joined Everlast™ in 1999 as a founding Director. |

Robert Bell - Director |
Robert has more than 20 years experience in, setting and optimising, the performance of Blow Moulding machines.
In 1978 he started his career, as a Trainee Die Setter, with Duranol Pty Ltd, and then worked as a Die Setter, until they were bought by BTR Nylex and merged with Injectapack Pty Ltd, in 1980
Robert became Production Manager, of the combined Companies.
In 1985 he joined Sephton Pty Ltd as Production Manager, and then in 1987 started his own Company Blowcon Pty Ltd.
Robert is considered to be one of the Industries foremost experts in Blow Moulding and is responsible for a number of technical advances and innovations.
Robert joined Everlast™ in 1999 as a founding Director. |

Stuart Leaver, MBE - General Manager & Director |
Stuart has over 25 years of experience in hands on organization and management of personnel, materials and logistics resources to obtain Project outcomes. Stuart has obtained much of this experience, professional qualifications and IT skills during an exemplary career in the British Armed Services over 23 years which saw him rise to the rank of Regimental sergeant major in charge of 500 servicemen.
After service as an officer in the Gulf War and in Kosovo, his skills in organization management were recognized by Bob Higginson who approached Stuart to move to Australia and take up this key role with Everlast™.
Stuart was awarded the MBE for his service to the British Commonwealth . |

Geoff Grace - Technical Manager & Quality Manager |
Geoff is a qualified Industrial Metallurgist with 30 years of experience in stainless steels applications into building technology, aerospace and automotive engineering, and energy industries. Geoff is the former Residential Services Engineer for SECV, with research, design and development experience in hot water systems and processes utilising stainless steels and new technologies.
Geoff was the ESAA representative for Victoria on Standards Australia committees for Solar Water Heaters and Electric Water Heaters. (CS/28 & EL/20)
Geoff joined Everlast™ in early 2000 to develop and implement Quality Assurance based on ISO 9001, and to develop Product compliance to WaterMark Certification based on the ISO 9001 platform. WaterMark Certification was achieved in 2001.
Everlast™ Hydro Systems is in the process of meeting ISO 9001 : 2000 requirements for all Business Processes. |

Founder, Innovator and former Chief Executive of Everlast™ - Bob Higginson |
After service as a Seagoing Engineer Bob worked for BTR Pty Ltd. and BTR Nylex for 30 years.
During the first decade he held positions in Design Engineering and Human Resources (specialising in Industrial Relations).
The next 20 years were in the senior operational roles, culminating in the position of Chief Executive, BTR Nylex Polymer Division.
As C.E.O. Bob was responsible for a large number of both plastic and rubber manufacturing companies in Australia , the U.K. and mainland Europe .
Bob retired from BTR Nylex in 1997, and founded Everlast™ in 1999 after recognizing a need for long life, high durability technology in the Australian Water Heater Industry.
In June 2003 Bob passed away. |
