Stainless steel (the storage advantage)
Bosch Everlast™ tanks are made of Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel. The advantages are many: Stainless steel is approximately twice as strong as mild steel, used by glass lined (vitreous enamel) cylinders. Stainless steel is a natural barrier to corrosion and rust. Stainless steel can withstand temperatures up to 100°C (Glass lined cylinders can start dissolving between 70°C and 85°C and can start to crack the glass as expansion and contraction occurs). Stainless steel does not require sacrificial anodes to protect against rust. Stainless steel tanks do not introduce any contaminates such as rust or anode residue into the water, which can happen with glass lined cylinders.
- Stainless steel tanks come in 3 types: 250 litre, 315 litre with 32mm ports and 315 litre with 50mm ports
- Tanks can be purchased separately
- Model numbers: 250C2 = 250 litre / 315C2 = 315 litre / 315C250 = 315 litre with 50mm ports
- The Bosch-Everlast stainless steel commerical grade tanks have been specifically designed as multi purpose commerical tanks to meet most requirements
- The casing is made of UV stabilised, high impact resistant Polyethylene with MEPS standards insulation
- The thermostat is a surface mount adjustable type which is connected by IP34 rated enclosude
- Ports are quality flared and welded and the tanks come complete with a five year warranty, details included with storage cylinder
