Solar Boosted Gas and Electric Systems

Everlast™ manufactures a range of stainless steel water storage tanks suitable for use with Solar-boosted Gas or Electric split systems.

Split solar systems feature:

• The storage tank on the ground
• The solar collector on the roof
• No reinforcing of the roof structure is required
• The tanks can be located internally or externally.

Solar boosted GAS systems utilizing the Bosch range of continuous GAS heaters, have a unique advantage over other gas heaters. The Bosch systems have a solar valve which only directs water through the gas booster if the water delivery temperature is below 60°C. The benefit of this feature, is that solar gain from the collectors is maximised and gas usage is minimised.

Systems are available in Natural Gas or L.P.G.
Due to the solar valve, Bosch L.P.G systems are more cost effective to operate than other L.P.G. systems.

Solar boosted Gas systems can deliver up to 1000 litres in the first hour with a 50°C rise in water temperature. Systems can be set up with ring mains for domestic or commercial applications.
